The science center is allot like the "children's museum" in Utah. It's really cool we had allot of fun.

Best Friends....no choice!

Bruce is such a sweet boy to share his mom with Easton. They have been so fun to watch grow up together. Even with their fights, bites, and body slams we know they love each other. It seems like they share the most and play the best when no one else is watching. Easton likes to blame Bruce for messes at our house and often tells me "Bruce did it"!

Pretty Flowers and Pretty Girls!

Teresa decided that we all needed a break from our yucky and dark IOWA weather. As part of her MASTER GARDENING class (wich I am so proud of her for doing) she volunteers at the Botanical Center. I absolutly love the "BUTT-Tantical" center! It's so warm and colorful and it almost makes us believe we were not in Iowa.

Thanksgiving 2009

We were so lucky to spend Thanksgiving at AnnMarie and Matt Giles house. AnnMarie is so cute! I am so glad I am getting to know her. She has 3 CUTE boys and her and Matt are such good parents. The dinner was yummy thanks to every one's hard work.....( Teresa + AnnMarie ) But Matt cooked the best turkey ever!

Poor Easton was really bored. He did not like all the girls running around. He desperately wanted a Boy to play with.

World Thinking Day

Kenna's Girls Scout troop participated in World Thinking Day. All the troops in the area were assigned a country. The girl's were so happy to get the Bahamas. At their booth they sold toe rings and Popsicles. Kenna, mom, and Easton walked around to all the booth and tried all the foods. Kenna loves girls scouts! She is friends with all the girls and her leader is really nice. We had so much fun today!

Oh he is just a funny lil boy!

Easton is SO high maintnance! Auttumn and Teresa have helped me so much with him. I love and appreciate all they have done to help with this crazy boy. He just never stops going and going and going and going.........

MY BATH TUB BOY!

Easton would take 10 baths a day and he is fearless of water. Kenna won't bathe with due to his love for peeing in the tub and excessive splashing. He goes under the water and can't get enough of that yummy tub water. He jumps and floats,it is so fun to watch him!

Kenna Kay turns 8!

Kenna Kay is 8 years old! She had a awesome birthday and once again she got a bit spoiled. After Kenna went to sleep Wednesday night I stayed up to decorate. Kenna's favorite colors are blue and green so the living room was covered. Of course I could not sleep in so I tried my hardest to make jut enough noise making breakfast to wake her up. She came out half asleep and I snuggled with her on the couch and just held that sweet girl in my arms. She finally noticed the pile of presents and started tearing them open. Easton came out and joined us, but to our surprise he did not ask where his "choo choo's" was. Kenna being the kind big sister she is let Easton open a few just to watch him get excited for the Zhu Zhu pets! We had a great morning and she got to school on time....almost. Kenna took doughnuts to her class and made a special trip to her music teacher's room to give her a doughnut too. I went to school after dropping Easton off with Teresa and Bruce. All I talked about at school was my daughter turning 8 today and hoping to hear I looked too young for such a grown little girl....But no I am not obviously. My teacher knew I was leaving early and he wrote HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENNA on the board. I picked up Kenna from school leaving E with Teresa. Teresa was so happy to help me have extra alone time with her. We went to the mall so Kenna could go to Build-a-bear. She picked out a dog that holds a baby in her mouth. It was very cute but the two pairs of shoes, dress, undies, and collar completed the package. Kenna adopted "Stella and Summer". Kenna loves spaghetti so that's what we ate for dinner. Teresa and Jason brought all the kids over and my neighbor and her 3 kids joined our party. We had mint chocolate chip ice cream and I made a pineapple upside down cake. Kenna loved the dog bed and outfit Teresa gave her and she now owns the entire Zhu Zhu pet collection. Happy Birthday my Kenna! I love you.

Easton Kade Mecham

My precious boy is 2 years old and is very good at being 2! He is all boy and keeps me hop'n all the time. He is so smart. I catch him looking at things trying to figure out how they work or how he can take them apart. ( much like my nephew Bryton, the 1st boy to still my heart, did at this age) Easton loves choo choo's and big trucks. He is the youngest member of the household but runs the house! I grumble some but the truth is I wouldn't have it any other way!
